Dog Friendly Walks

Explore ngurrak barring with your furry friend!

While the majority of ngurrak barring runs through national park, where dogs aren’t allowed, there still some wonderful walks to enjoy with your dog.

Kalorama Memorial Reserve

(1190-1196 Mt Dandenong Tourist Road, Kalorama)

Home to Tawny Frogmouth, Water Tank Art Project and Storm Leaves Kalorama.

From here, walkers with their dogs on lead can cross Mt Dandenong Tourist Road, walk down Jeeves Ave and onto May Moon Track. This beautiful forest trail leads you to the bast of Kalorama Park.

From here, you can explore the land art, Regeneration – The Listening Place. 

Birdsland Reserve

(Mt Morton Road, Belgrave Heights)

Home to Storm Leaves, Birdsland. Here your dog can enjoy a walk around the lake – and even a swim in the designated dog swim area!
