ngurrak barring | RidgeWalk tells local stories of art, culture and history through a variety of creative platforms including architectural nodes, permanent sculptures, land art and heritage interpretation.

As you journey along the tracks, art and signage provides rich and diverse cultural encounters while preserving the natural experience. You’ll also discover five destinations focused on five key themes which examines the human relationship to place, from First Nations people’s connection to Country to shared contemporary experiences: Ways of Seeing, Community, Activism, Resilience and Country.

Each destination is unique in design and built to reflect its key theme. Stories, images and interpretive material are expressed within the built elements of the destination, engaging visitors, heightening their curiosity and encouraging deeper learning about a shared culture and history that continues to shape the people and environment.
